References are a vital aspect of every volunteer’s registration.

References will be asked to comment on your suitability to serve on a Christian Camp/Mission for children and young people. 
 
Reference 1 will be asked about your faith, church involvement and experience of working with children and/or young people.
 
Reference 2 will be asked about your personality and what you will uniquely bring to a Camp/Mission.

Family members or individuals serving on the same team cannot provide a reference for you.

The referee you list will receive an automatic email upon your completion of your online registration form.
 
This email may arrive in their junk/spam folder.
 
Please check your referee has responded to the request by regularly logging in and checking the progress of your registration.

Yes. Scripture Union Northern Ireland require you to complete a new Access NI check for their organisation. Individuals cannot use previous checks or checks carried out by a different organisation.

Please refer to the Access NI Guidelines.  However, if you are still experiencing issues, please contact NI Direct, SU are unable to resolve issues on this government website.

The financial contribution you make within your registration form will be used towards:
