I’m registering for SHINE
What information do you ask for?
When you register a group for SHINE, you will give us your name, the name and address of your school and a contact email address.
Why do you need this information?
We use this information to give you access to the SHINE resources. We will also to pray for and keep in touch about SHINE events if you consent to that.
Who do you share my information with?
You will see when you sign up for SHINE, that this is a joint project run by SUNI, Crown Jesus Ministries, Logos Ministries International, Scripture Union England & Wales and Scripture Union Scotland. Passworded staff from each organisation can access the information about each school group which has registered. You can look at their website to find more information on CJM, LMI, SUE&W and SUS. The SHINE team may use Mailchimp to get in touch with you (for further information on MailChimp, please see our Third Parties section).
How is it kept secure?
The web forms are kept on the SHINE website (for more information on the SHINE website, please see our Third Parties section) and are only accessed by passworded members of the SHINE team. SUNI’s staff member will download your contact details to their encrypted, passworded laptop.
For how long do you retain my data?
We only need your details to contact and support you before, during and after your SHINE events. Once SHINE is over each year, your contact details will be deleted from our staff member’s laptop. The web forms are deleted on an annual basis.
