Supporting Schools

In collaboration with key education specialists SUNI will create a variety of training opportunities and resources to enhance the existing  work that is happening in all schools. This will include supporting the National curriculum that has to be taught, along with appropriate extra curricular activities.Post–Primary Resources

If you are interested in any of the material mentioned, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! Some of it is available in the SU leaders section of the website.

SHINE is a free 3 week resource aimed at two things: EQUIPPING young people to share their faith with their friends in school and also to give opportunities for young people to EXPLORE the Christian faith for themselves.

Right across the UK and Ireland, the video resources allow young people to consider the call to stand up, be counted and SHINE.

We love when young people see the bigger picture of what God is doing in schools just like theirs. In order to facilitate this, we run inter schools events in local areas in order to ‘do SU together’ and connect with local schools for bespoke events tailored to the area. To find out more, contact your local E3 worker

NUA is all about exploration: it’s a film series that encourages questions, acknowledges doubt, and offers an engaging perspective on the Christian faith. Click here to find out more.

Complete with weekly session scripts, videos and powerpoints, SU leaders are equipped and encouraged to give pupils space to pray for, plan and prepare an outreach event during the course of the programme. This could take the form of an SU session at lunchtime, after school or an SU led assembly.

This resource is completely free and accessible at

SU Connect

SU CONNECT is an opportunity for SU leaders to run a 90 minute SU programme between themselves and other SU groups in your area.

This idea has been running for the last couple of years, with primary schools close to each other meeting together in one location on an agreed afternoon. This gives the chance for pupils from different SU groups to connect together and feel part of God’s big family.

If you would be interested in exploring an opportunity to do SU CONNECT, please get in contact with Rachel Sheppard, Childrens’ Ministry Coordinator.
