We hope that you find this page informative about the exciting developments in our Schools work in Bangor.

In Bangor there is approx 29 schools that includes primary, post primary and specialist schools.

Our aim as a project is to bring God’s good news to those pupils, by engaging, equipping and empowering - School Pupils, Christian Teachers and pupils and the local churches in Bangor.

Meet our New and first E3 Schools Worker in Bangor.

Leanne is the Scripture Union Schools Worker for the district. Leanne spent four years teaching Primary 6/7 before joining the staff of SU in April 2005…and hasn’t looked back since! Leanne joins the E3 Bangor team in March 2011 after spending six years developing the E3 Schools Project in East Belfast.

‘I love my job! It’s such a privilege to have the opportunity to go into schools, often alongside church volunteers, and see children and young people respond to the Bible and the Good News about Jesus in such a positive way!’

Leanne's role includes hands-on involvement in assemblies, classes and groups in primary, post-primary and special schools, the encouragement of Christian teachers and the promotion of church-school links.
