Pray for the SU groups in:

Hazelbank Primary School
Hezlett Primary School

The SU Group in Ballymoney High kicks off this term, meeting every other Wednesday. Give thanks for the teachers who are heading this group up, pray that God will give them wisdom. And pray that pupils would come, so that the group will be a real influence in the school.
Info on Shine
Shine is a brand new initiative organised by both Crown Jesus Ministries and Scripture Union NI. We hope to inspire teachers and pupils across the country to pray for our schools, and to motivate them to reach out and share the Good News of Jesus. With over 40 schools taking part, the impact across the country can be massive!
Shine will happen during the first three weeks of October and will be structured as follows:
Mon 4 - Fri 8 October: Preparation Week
We will provide a teaching DVD to be shown in each SU group to enthuse pupils about evangelism in general, and the ‘Shine' project in particular.
Mon 11 - Fri 15 October: Prayer Week
We encourage groups and pupils to get together throughout this week to pray for what's going on. Again, our ‘Shine' teaching DVD would be shown within each SU group to inspire the pupils to pray.
Mon 18 - Fri 22 October: Present Week
This all leads to a culmination in Week 3 where each group will do something evangelistic to reach out to their friends in school. This can be anything from a single event to a full mission week, just whatever works best in each context.
