Pray that God will help P7 pupils awaiting the new transfer tests. Pray that children will come to know Christ as their personal Saviour and learn to follow Him in their daily lives. Pray that those children who have already become Christians will grow in maturity, knowledge and understanding of their faith.

Pray that children will come to love Jesus and choose to follow Him through learning more at Scripture Union.

Pray for all the children who attend – and especially for those from non-Christian homes who do not attend Sunday School or any children’s meetings. Pray that the gospel might be explained in a way that is easy to understand.

Pray for last year’s P7s as they move on to their new schools and for those who have joined SU this year. Pray that children will get to know God personally. Pray that leaders will have guidance and wisdom as they plan the SU programme for the year.

Give thanks that a member of staff has agreed to coordinate SU within the school, with the help of a group of mums each week. Pray that they will have a programme that will interest the kids and be relevant to them and that they will keep coming each week.

Pray for wisdom in choosing material and for increased interest among P7s.

Pray for creativity, enthusiasm, and fresh energy for leaders on Monday afternoons. Pray that children will want to come and pray for good communication with children, teachers, speakers, parents and others.

Pray that P7 girls who attended faithfully in previous years would return to us. Pray for enthusiasm and energy for leaders and that this will rub off on the children attending.

Pray that our club will be well attended. Pray that young people will understand the Good News. Give thanks for two teenage girls who attended SU camps and plan to return next year.

Pray that Scripture Union will be relevant to the needs of the children who attend. Pray that God’s Word will be fruitful in the lives of staff and children.

Pray for Christian pupils to grow in their faith and witness to friends. Pray for the many children for whom SU is their only connection to 'church'. Pray for continued openness in school and with families to continue.

Pray that our children will encounter God in a real way at SU and that they will take His peace and joy into all of their lives. Pray for those who attend the CEF camp in the summer - usually the first week of July.

Pray that the children will be settled and attentive so that the message of God's love and their need of salvation may be imparted to them.

Pray that numbers will be good this year. We had a small group last year. Pray also that leaders will be able to approach SU with enthusiasm and fresh ideas.

Knocknagoney Primary School
Pray for continued support from members - a growing number of children are attending. Pray for funds to allow the 'Klass Kids' programme to operate fior a five week session.

Lisnagelvin Primary School
We are moving to a new school at the end of the spring term - so no clubs are running in the school at the moment.However, Crown Jesus Ministries will be in the city in February and are coming to run a kids club for four weeks. Pray for good response and for financial support (£20 per child).

Londonderry Primary School
Pray that children will be interested in coming and that they will really learn about Jesus. Pray for the salvation of our children.

Millburn Primary School
Pray for the children - for their eagerness and enthusiasm for being at the SU group. Pray for the Christian teachers who lead the group - that they will show Jesus Christ in all their actions and words.

Pray for the SU weekend for P6 and P7 pupils taking place in Mullartown House from 12th -14th March 2010 and for the speaker, Mrs Joan McKinstry.

We are running a programme called Route 66 and hoping that the children will become more enthusiastic about reading their Bibles.

Pray for continued interest among children, especially P7s. Pray that children will accept Jesus as Saviour. Give praise for the blessings we as teachers receive each week in SU. Give praise for regular SU attenders.

Pray for enthusiasm and interest in SU and for good numbers coming. Pray for children to be saved and to grow in faith. Pray for an influence for God on the whole school community.

Portstewart Primary School
Pray for a good response from children and for the ability to make a difference. Pray for energy for us as teachers at the end of the school day. Pray that we will be a positive influence on the children.

Pray that children will be excited and keen to come and enjoy activities. Pray that we will find suitable visiting speakers. Pray for help in providing funding to finance visiting speakers.

Pray for the students from Belfast Bible College who are helping with SU. Pray that they will be open to being involved in this type of work.

Pray for the continuation of good attendance and for receptive listeners.

With more pressures on the timetable it is increasingly difficult to fit in SU and planning / prayer meetings. This year we are down one staff member which means that there is a greater workload for the two leaders involved.

Pray that new children will attend. Pray for stamina for the teacher who organises SU on her own.

Pray for the salvation of children. Pray that positive relationships will develop.
