North Coast
Facts About The District
The North Coast district comprises the postal areas BT51-57. In this area there are:
- 55 primary schools
- 15 post-primary schools
- 1 special school
There are Scripture Union groups in 21 primary schools and 9 post-primary schools.
Jenny Atkinson
Jenny is now in her third year as the Scripture Union Schools Worker for the district.
“I can’t believe how time has flown! It’s been amazing to see God at work in the lives of school pupils in the North Coast. I’m continually struck by the privilege we have of sharing God’s Good News so freely with children and young people. And I’m excited about the opportunities God is giving us to develop this work in the year ahead!”
Jenny's role includes hands-on involvement in assemblies, classes and groups in primary, post-primary and special schools, the encouragement of Christian teachers and the promotion of church-school links.
