Leanne Dunlop
Leanne is the Scripture Union Schools Worker for the district. Leanne spent four years teaching Primary 6/7 before joining the staff of SU in April 2005…and hasn’t looked back since!
‘I love my job! It’s such a privilege to have the opportunity to go into schools, often alongside church volunteers, and see children and young people respond to the Bible and the Good News about Jesus in such a positive way!’
Leanne's role includes hands-on involvement in assemblies, classes and groups in primary, post-primary and special schools, the encouragement of Christian teachers and the promotion of church-school links.

East Belfast Inter Schools
Unite' Post-primary Interschools Event - What do you get when you mix several local SU groups, their friends, sports personalities, church youth workers, a game of ‘do this, do that', the Colin Stitt band and the powerful testimony of Jasper Rutherford?! ‘Unite'!! We had a fantastic evening at Ashfield Girls High School in March. God was moving in ways beyond our imagination! Many responded and came forward for prayer at the end of the evening - pray that whether they were making first time commitments or seeking to go deeper in their walk with God, that this will have a lasting impact on their lives. Give thanks for all involved, especially the forum of senior pupils who helped shape the programme, advertise and sell tickets.
