Prayer Focus

Please pray for our Camp & Mission leaders as they attend a First Aid/Food Hygiene training day on 9 June at Cairnshill Methodist Church. Pray that it will be beneficial and enjoyable for everyone involved.
X:site
X:SITE is a regular multi-media community-wide Bible-based evening celebration designed to enable 7s-11s to have fun learning about Jesus - and invite their friends. It is already running successfully in several cities across the UK and since the official launch in November 2011 is now running every other month on a Saturday evening in BELFAST.
Dates And Venues
Over the next few months X:site Belfast will take place as follows:

Registering Your Child
Children must be registered in order to attend. In order to register your child please complete and sign a registration form and either return it to the address given or send it with your child on the night. Registering in advance will guarantee a place for your child.
Registration forms need to be completed only once per year. A small charge of £2.00 per event is payable at the door.
Promoting X:Site
If you would like to promote X:site in your church, school or community group we would be pleased to send some posters and invitations for you to use and to add you to our mailing list for news of future events. Please send your name and contact details, the name of the church, school or group you represent and the number of posters or invitations you require to: xsite_belfast@yahoo.co.uk.
You might also wish to download a PowerPoint slide to help you advertise X:site in your church.
If you are a children's group leader you could either arrange to bring a group to X:site yourself or encourage parents to drop children off and collect them again. There is a parents / children's leaders zone for those who wish to stay but for child protection reasons, unless you are part of the team, it will not be possible for you to sit with the children in your group.
Bringing A Group
If you intend to bring a group, please download registration forms (see above) for each of the children who wish to attend and ask a parent / carer in each case to complete and sign the form and return it to you. You should then either return the forms to the address given or bring them with you on the night. Registering in advance will guarantee places for the children in your group.
Your church may also require that you obtain permission slips from the parents / carers of the children involved in order for them to attend as part of your group.
Volunteering For X:Site
We need volunteers to help in various ways - up front leading worship, organising games or giving a talk; behind the scenes operating sound and data projection equipment, registering children on arrival or serving refreshments; working with children in small groups.
A key element to X:site is the junior team. We aim to invest in training emerging leaders, those aged 14-17, providing opportunities for them to serve alongside adult team members to develop their gifts of leadership and working with children.
