Bangor4 Aug - 11 Aug

Leader

Information

There's no beach in sight but Ballycrochan CSSM still has the feel of any other CSSM-lots of fun and laughter and the goal of bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to both the kids and the community in the surrounding area. With the involvement of 3 local churches in providing halls, leaders, five star accommodation (on the CSSM star rating system!) and great food, Ballycrochan has a great community feel and a sense that the mission continues after we leave. This year we are aiming for a team of around 25 leaders so there's lots of room for YOU! With over 120 children aged from 4-18 and four age sections there are opportunities in all age groups for everyone and anyone to get stuck in, have fun and most of all share Jesus. Why not take up the challenge of CSSM and join us in Ballycrochan.

Roe Valley CSSM

Scripture Union - We have spaces! Scripture Union - Volunteer!
Dungiven / The Largy4 Aug - 12 Aug

Leader

Dr Clive Glass

Information

Having become a one-centre mission last year, Roe Valley CSSM now meets in Drumrane Primary School half way between Dungiven and the Largy in a village called the Burnfoot.  There we will have access to 4 classrooms as well as a large assembly hall with a state of the art sound system, lights and multi-media projector system.  Outside we have extensive grounds and a recently constructed play park at our disposal.

The mission opens with a family service in the school during the afternoon of Sunday 5 August.  Weekday mornings will be spent in preparation before meeting with the boys and girls for 3 hours each afternoon.  If last summer is anything to go by, we would expect 110 children or so being present daily.  In the evenings we meet in Dungiven for TeenScene, a programme geared specifically to the 11+ agegroup, when around 50 - 60 young people enter enthusiastically into a wide range of activities.  The mission closes with a family service in the school on the morning of Sunday 12 August, when we would hope to see the hall filled to capacity again with 250 parents and children present.

New team members are assured of a warm welcome, with those from outside the area being hosted by members of Dungiven and Largy Presbyterian Churches.  Team training takes place before the mission on Saturday 4 August.  As one of the final missions of the summer, this may be the last opportunity you have to serve God on a CSSM team before returning to school or uni, so why not get in touch with us and bring the summer to a fitting close by sharing the Gospel with the children and young people of Roe Valley!?  We look forward to hearing from you.
