This endeavour is for those who are looking for a little bit more…it’s for 16-18 year olds who have a desire to grow more in their own character and abilities – to learn more about leading and then have the opportunity to lead at either a camp for a group of about 60 children or a mission were the focus is on starting something new.

This camp/mission combo will run for 8 days  - starting on Saturday morning and finishing late Saturday afternoon. We will train you up for the first 4 days and then your task for the second half of the week, supported by older leaders, will be to run either a camp or mission. We will split the group

•    half heading off to run a mission – last year we went to Loughbrickland, this year the location is yet to be confirmed but the heart will be the same to help children and young people know more about God.

•    half staying at Castlewellan to run a 4-day camp for pupils just leaving P7. The move to secondary school is huge and we want to help these children grow in confidence in Jesus.  This camp will be aimed at helping them with this significant transition.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, be stretched and serve; to put your faith into action and help those younger to grow in confidence too.
